I recently told my parents I want to go back to Haiti to see my birthplace, culture, and help out as much as possible. And when I say go back I mean stay for 2-3 months, maybe even longer depending. My parents are so supportive and bring up ideas about it everyday! I just messaged the lady who helped me get adopted out of Haiti. Wish me luck, I hope to stay with her family when ever the time comes.
